I don't disagree. Who cares about the award? March is about winning games, not awards. I hope that Cronin and SK shut up and the team plays their hearts out.

Again...selective quoting - What was the question(s) that led up to the quote? IMO Shabazz would only say that in response to a certain kind of question/statement.

Kirkpatrick could have been more gracious in his words too, instead of congratulating Shabazz he decided to tell the media he deserved it and the voters got it wrong. Even if you believe that you don't say that.

The Napier quote is wrong.

He said, "I don't care about IT [not him]..."

He was referring to the POY.

You have to get the quote right.

Kilpatrick was just using the POY thing as motivation, I guarantee it. He is the kind of guy that loves to play with an edge. That's all this SK thing is. Nothing to see here.
