Bus to Cleveland
There is a bus going to Cleveland at 5pm tonight that is free with the purchase of a ticket. They will be coming back tonight. At the time of posting, there were still seats available.

EMU's ticket line is 734.487.2282.

Damn wish I could make it. If we win tonight, me and a buddy are driving out to Cleveland tomorrow. Wouldn't miss a chance at seeing us play for a tournament birth.

RE: Bus to Cleveland
I'm hearing murmurs that the waitlist is growing so long a second bus is potential, but we're sort of in the 11th hour. I'm sure if we win tonight we'll have multiple buses rolling into Cleveland tomorrow.

Why only One bus ? Budget, bus tomorrow? Hardly unlikely again do to budget. Have you seen the roads, parking lots and sidewalks on campus? They are going to have spends $100s of thousands of dollars fixing. There might be a bus or 2 when we make the NCAAs but not for the NIT. And before claim we could be a host school it hasn't happened in the past the NIT requires the host school to buy the right to host which I think is now close to $20,000.

Super, I hope they are entirely separate 'pots of money'.

One is capital budget (e.g., parking lots) or a maintenance budget and the other probably discretionary funds the AD or President controls (I'd assume AD because we aren't talking big $ for a bus rental).

Chance of us getting a home game in a tourney is zilch.

If we end up in say the CIT and win two games, then... maybe we get a game.

Or we could get to the CIT finals which, believe it or not, is a 3 game series.

I just want to know if they are warming up the bus (now)? 02-13-banana

Warm up that bus, too. 02-13-banana

Better yet, that bus ought to be in Toledo by now (and not stopping to pick up Rocket fans. 04-chairshot ).

I am pretty sure Trinity and EMU have some type of deal going. I am sure it wasn't too expensive, either way who cares ?

You seem to be the one making the big deal out of it. I just made a statement! But I can say this for a fact athletics had NO money for it! So the next you see a booster think kindly of them!

Maybe Hoopster? Lol.

Seriously, I'm sure someone from athletic giving could make a call or two to big givers and easily cover the expense.

No it isn't it's great it proves that there people out there that love EMU as much as I and put up the money so that students can go to this big game! Most if not of the past bus trips where paid for by boosters.

It is sad that we don't have money for the cheapest form of transportation, I don't mind boosters one bit
