Palm's latest bracket 3-14
CBS Bracket
Memphis now a 7 seed playing Arizona State followed by Syracuse. Winner to play Louisville.
SMU is in the play-in game as an 11 seed playing Tennessee.
UConn is a 5 seed.
Cincinnati is a 3 seed.
The 4th no.1 seed is now Wisconsin after Villanova lost to Seton Hall. Might end up being Kansas if they win the Big 12 though.

Don't forget about James Harden. He would light us up.

If Memphis is a 7 seed, you can bet Kansas will be the 2 seed.

This team has the talent to reach the Final Four, but the coaching to be one and done. We'll see, but I am finding it hard to get excited about this year's tourney.

RE: Palm's latest bracket 3-14
7 8 9 seed is about right.
Kids have shown a remarkable resiliency this season- much more so than our trolls-- er I mean large portion of our fanbase.
No question though- that there have been far too many really poor outings than expected. The coach has done a good job getting them refocused- but a poor job in allowing a few too many lacks of focus.
Tough night last night- come Sunday- no one cares.
Come Thursday or Friday- it is on.
Those who will whine incessantly- and we see the pattern- worst coach ever- best players ever- after losses- tough players after wins. Feel free- but just as, for example, players like Crawford are who they are- inexplicably capable of poor efforts, season should be judged after they are over- not after a bad loss.
Note- UConn lost badly the game before. Games have no memory.

Hoping Kansas sneaks on to the one line. We have no one that can handle Andrew Wiggins.

7 seed is about right. Very disappointing to be no better / worse than last season. I think everyone was expecting a better year but it is what it is. Let's see where the chips fall on selection Sunday and then root for these kids to provide a memorable (in a good way) ending to the season.

Last year we were a Formula One car against stock cars. This year we were a Formula One car against other Formula One cars. We hung in there. I'd call that better and not disappointing at all.
Do I wish we had performed better at times and had no losses at all? Of course. But to have expected a better year with the increased level of competition was just an invitation to disappointment.

Exactly.
Cannot fathom why any Memphis fan would think otherwise.

FWIW I do not think he meant very disappointed in the team- but disappointed that as it turns out, we did not perform during the season like a top ten team more often.
Fair enough.
And at this point meaningless. We will play a sold team in our next game, someone like Colorado or Iowa, and have a really good chance to win. And if we win, will play the likes of a Villanova, Michigan or Virginia, or even a Duke, Florida or Florida Gulf Coast. Two wins- and glory.
Cannot imagine after such a poor effort last night our kids will not play balls to the wall. But yes, by lowering their seed they set themselves up, especially if they win their first game, that they could play well and lose that second game.
We shall see.

Bingo. We took a lot of shots and dished out a bunch of shots. It's been a fun year with some really high and really low points.
