UTEP supports it probably about as well as anyone in the conference would. When I went out there 3 years ago, they had signs advertising the tournament all around town (couldn't imagine Birmingham doing that) and had great crowds for their games. Best I remember, the non-UTEP games were better attended than the non-Memphis games at Fed Ex.

I wanted to go to that one this year, but I'm planning on doing the Bahamas trip in the fall instead. I really enjoyed myself out there (other than the 1st game loss), but found plenty of stuff to do to occupy my time. Whenever it's in El Paso again, I will definitely be back out there.
