On Pearl: he lied to the NCAA, got fired for it, and is currently under a show-cause order through the end of August.

Josh has done an awesome job rather you like it or not. Since he's been hired, he's been significantly better than Mike Anderson, Leonard Hamilton, Derek Kellogg, and Tony Barbee. This loss sucks, but you guys really do look like idiots after these losses.

Pearl coached a bunch of 3 star players into 5's several times. Those of you with doubts will see it again when someone inevitably hires him.

Whatever. I'm done. I'm sick of it. Call me names and I'll raise my hand to own it personally. Some of us are too close to it to see it. We can spin stats however we want on both sides, but I'm telling you that people who watch college basketball for a living know what's going on here and it's not the nice things they say on the air. Read the tweets carefully and sometimes you see the implication. He's in over his head and he isn't the right guy for Memphis.

TRUETH!!!!! But i've gotten used to it, it's pretty much the same posters that you can count on to really show up after a loss, not so much when we win. To hire Bruce Pearl, yea you might win, but do you really want the black eye that you would get having hired him. I want to win, but not by any means necessary.

I'd get down on my knees and beg Pearl to take this job and I hate Tennessee with a passion. Couldn't care less if we have a cheating slimeball snake in the grass, as long as he wins and doesn't get throttled on his own home floor in a conf tourn.

Half the money guys have been saying this for quite a while.

memphis fans can deal with Ls. what they can't deal with is a team stockpiled with top 100 recruits and 4 senior guards laying turds time and time again. they play like they don't even want to be there. playing under pastner is probably like watching a mr. rogers marathon. it's great and makes you feel good through the first few episodes, but after awhile, you realize that "hey, i'm a grown ass man watching back to back episodes of mr. rogers. what the hell is wrong with me?" no disrespect to mr. rogers, of course. i admire the man greatly, but he should only be watched in small doses.
