I only hope we don't fulfill Lunardi's lust to see us as #8 vs. a #9 Kansas St. with a potential AZ in the next round. I hope those who see a #7 are right, but I'll be pleasantly surprised if that happens. Both KY and Gonzaga are presently projected better seeds.

I don't see Gonzaga as a higher seed than us. UK maybe just because of the weird fascination with Kentucky, but not the Zags.

I can't believe our fans can be this ignorant. Tiebreaker was just used to determine seed not where we finished. We finished tied for third therefore we finished third not fifth

First round home tourney blowout loss wont help us They may consider UCONN just a bad matchup and weigh those three losses togther Im figuring we get the shaft and the way we are playing Im not sure I want to draw any of our natural rivals Good news is that we dont string together two losses very often Bad news is this team has never once this year seemed to hit stride

We finished 12-6 in a league where everyone plays everyone twice. Only two other teams had a better record than that. We finished tied for third. You can't have three 3 seeds in a tournament so they employ a tie breaker, but our finish in conference was third.

We beat one of the number 1 seeds twice. Gotta count for something, right? Thinking 6 or 7 myself.

We were the 5th best team in the league IMO doesn't really matter cause a 7-9 seed means we'll get steam rolled in second game anyway then we can all laugh about it afterwords since losing is so damn funny and ok!

Kind of like Ole Miss claiming to be Co-champions of the SEC West division one year when both they and LSU finished 7-1 but LSU went to the SEC championship game. the TIEBREAKERS decided who represented the west division so I guess they count.......
