The Kingsgate Marriott has free shuttle to the game. I have walked many times from there to the game with no problems.

I would also look at the Hampton right next to campus or the Kingsgate Marriott, they tend to have fairly decent deals during football season, but as both are next to campus and not downtown, it would make finding alternate travel to the stadium a must.

For more info I would check our official tourism website for more trip ideas outside of the game and drinking at our MANY bars and breweries. https://cincinnatiusa.com/

Print that on the tourist brochures. We've got ourselves a winning catch phrase to convince tourists to use public transit! 03-lmfao

Hey just being honest. We all wish it was as nice as DC's public transit.

DC does have the nicest system I've been on in the US. Better than NYC, Boston, Chicago, or San Fran.

DC's system is very nice. I spent every other month in Boston throughout college and grew to really appreciate the T. The stops are closer than SEPTA and the lines are conveniently set up. Bostonians complain that it closes early (and Northeasterners complain that the E line is always packed), but if that's your worst complaint, you're in a good spot.

Great stuff all and much appreciated! Found out last night we might make Tulsa too and skip over the following day to Norman for OU v OSU. If that happens it'll be the first season ever that I've seen all 12 regular season games in person. Keep it coming!

UC posts are good suggestions.

-Before/after game anything at The Banks is good, right next to
the football Stadium. I personally like Lager House and the Yard House.

-Friday hit up anything in Over the Rhine, which is walkable from Downtown
Hotels. http://www.rhinegeist.com and a good indoor outdoor bar is Neons.

Also, just above and east of Downtown is Mt. Adams, bunch of good bars and food, and great views. You want to mingle around here.

Got five minutes of spare time so I'll address Covington, KY, which is directly across the river from Paul Brown.

There are hotels along the river, and it is possible to walk the bridge across to the stadium. If you want great views of downtown and the river, you can stay there.

Close to the hotels is the Main Strasse, where there is a collection of bars and restaurants. I no longer go over there often simply because smoking is allowed in bars, where it is illegal in Ohio. So if you want to smoke, this would be the place to be.

The bars tend to be smaller, neighborhood bars, but they are friendly places. **** and Bull probably has the best beer selection. There's a whisky bar on the main drag.

I can't recommend and restaurants there, except maybe the cajun restaurant, Dee Felice, and Zola, a bar/hamburger joint. I wouldn't recommend doing Wertheims, the german place. I'd probably go to Hofbrauhaus in Newport or try to figure out where Mecklenburg Gardens is before I went to Wertheim's.

Covington also has some restaurants right at the Roebling Bridge that are worth trying.

While I'm at it: Newport KY.

Also along the river. Some people like Newport on the Levee. Hofbrauhaus is there. I find the beer good, food mediocre, but the place rocks on a Saturday night as people get drunk to the sound of the oompah band.

In the complex itself, a new chain restaurant opened - can't remember the name of it - but the gimmick is that the service spends most of its time insulting you. Dick's Last Resort, is it? There is a collection of other restaurants - mostly chains.

Also in Newport: Best liquor beer store ever - Party Source. There's also a new distillery there, but I've not checked it out.

That truly is a sight to behold. It's the largest liquor beverage store in the US.

Good idea, you will enjoy it. The Covington Ky area is worth a look.
Also, either for a night cap or to stay the Downtown Hilton is pretty nice.
The bar area is incredible,
