Crazy how things change...
I was just digging through my pictures and decided to do a side by side of the way it looked on the street I grew up on and now... We moved in on July 4, 1985 so I scanned that picture and then found one that I'd taken on July 4th of last year. When we moved in, there were only 6 houses on the entire street. One on the first turn, 3 in the middle where we lived, one on the very end, and then one on the other side of the street... I bought that one 27 years later. It's just crazy how much things change.

This is a pretty neat idea. I'll scan an old picture and post it with a present one later this evening.

I wonder if anyone else has anything like that... The population has only gone from 530 to 850 in that amount of time, but there's about 15 houses on that street now.

And for some reason it didn't show the entire picture from the scanned image. I guess I can do it this way too...

This is in the pasture behind the house... I'll take another from the same spot later, but I did find one from 1999. You can see the difference but the most recent was taken on the opposite side of the 1985 pic.

Very cool. That'd make a hell of a book. Thanks for the link.
