Very sad. When southby comes to town, I stay in and don't leave the house. Talk is that they are going to make an example of this guy. We'll see.

Yes, very sad. I too stay indoors.

Every year SXSW gets bigger and bigger. Heck, so does the city. In fact, I don't even recognize the skyline anymore.

I've never heard of SXSW. What is it? A music festival?

It started as music but has grown into a film, interactive, and music festival. It's like 2ish weeks long with music being the most popular of the 3 sections.

They've also launched a tech part as well. In 2007, Twitter was shown at SXSW and that was the launching pad for it's popularity. Now it's the hip place to show new social media apps and other media-tech stuff.

Edit: I guess "tech" would fall into "interactive". So, I basically just repeated what PurpleReigns2012 said. Sorry.
