RE: Cool New Football Video
Dear KPJ,
That was cool. Interesting fumble recovery drill. At least that's what it looked like to me.

I like the direction that the Athletic Department is moving. Seems to me like there is a much stronger commitment to putting more info and giving an inside look at things over the web. I'm a fan.

I agree Creighton keeps moving up in my book, he seems to know or at least attempt to be more transparent, fan friendly and into marketing the program. I think its interesting-there's a certain energy level with this guy and a certain positive buzz he creates. He definitely is changing the "tone" of the program. Of course all that melts away over time if you can' t deliver the Ws.
I'm going to be interested in seeing if he uses some of the leftover scholies prior to April 1.
Hopefully he does another round of open chats ie Free Press after spring ball. That's was fun.
Did Haygood ever get a formal announcement?

I agree. Creating an excitement about the football program was something the university (Presidents, ADs, HCs, etc...) never seemed to understand is absolutely necessary. Pump-up the program. Get students and alumni involved (12th Man). EXCITEMENT!
Look at the Virginia Tech entrance into the stadium. It's simple, but causes excitement.

By the way, the EMU video is great, but definitely reminds me of why I now live in Florida. I was cold just watching.
