Man, I really hope we beat UTEP. Their fans have become insufferable. They think they are a basketball powerhouse just because out of ALL of their craptastic athletic programs, their bball sucks the least.

Why is UCF favored over Temple? That's a surprise to me. Because of the Houston win?

Actually, I enjoyed the SMU-UTEP basketball games. Even though they usually beat us 9 out of 10 times . Don't know how it would shake out in CUSA with North Texas. But, if UTEP skipped North Texas in conference rotation. Would love to see a SMU-UTEP home-and-home OOC game.

A longtime AAU coach once claimed 'Tim Floyd is John Calipari without the players or wins.'. I always got a chuckle out of that. Thank God we hired Pastner instead.

Announcers are spot on. The Owls with that patented horrific defense but saved by Sykes jogging the ball to midcourt with 5 seconds left in the game. As they said, there's a reason these teams are seeded where they are.

It is some extra late night entertainment in front of immediate family and a few dozen others.

Does UCF's coach really not trust his senior in Sykes to not pick up that 5th foul?!? Why would he not have him in???

Even though I'm rooting for overtimes, that was a terrible collapse from UCF down the stretch there. Sykes is a really good player, but his head just isn't in it sometimes.
