Did anyone attend? What were some of the highlights? How disappointed did Rick seem that we missed out on the Dance?

The highlights were the 3 seniors highlights over their careers at Belmont with a few funny comments by Byrd.

He didn't seem broke up about missing the dance, but he mentioned how you get used to going and it makes it harder when you don't. He also talked about when we first entered the ASun. We were playing Campbell and beat them, but we needed another team to win. This was early cell phone days, so they kept trying to get info on the game. On the way back, by bus, they got the answer that we were in the ASun tournament. They stopped the busses and got out and celebrated. That's how far they have come.

Rick got emotional during the lunch, but it wasn't about losing. He mentioned that he went over to Neubauer after the game and chatted with him. He said their coach complimented our guys for the after game handshake line. Neubauer mentioned that it was one of the best he's witness with our guys congratulating theirs and wishing them luck. You know Byrd, he gets touched with class and integrity from his team.
