What questions need to be answered during spring practice?
What is the most important thing we need to find out from spring practice?

Solidifying the Defensive line is number one on my list. The trenches are so important. Our Oline will be awesome but our dline is a big ????

I think QB will work itself out. We have a few good candidates.

On a minor note, we need to finda a FG kicker.

We just brought in a new kicker recruit in this past class.

I agree that D Line is a priority. Good teams are always strong on both the O Line and D Line. You have to control the line of scrimmage.

I am very concerned about our defensive backfield as well. I couldn't believe some of the terrible coverage that our DB's had on many passing plays. They weren't anywhere close to the WR when catches were made. Jimmy Ward made up for a lot of mistakes in coverage from the safety position, but we have to be a lot better in coverage this year.

On the offensive side of the ball, I believe that RB and WR will be very strong. Like most of us, I am very anxious to see who comes out of spring practice as our QB. Once the QB is chosen, I think the offense will score a ton...

Without question we need to find out in the spring who the starting QB will be. You don't want to go into fall practice still trying to figure this out, it's not fair to the other players and it's not fair to the kids competing.

QB, most of the defense, WRs behind TL and Da'ron, new starter on O-Line.

It's fair if one guy doesn't show that he's obviously better at being the #1 QB than the other guys.

Frankly, if we can go from 3 guys to 2 guys competing for #1 going into Fall, I would feel pretty good about that. ( Not looking for one guy to suck obviously, but you know what I mean.)

I would like to know if Akeem will end his day-to-day status.

We needed a kicker last year too.

A strong secondary is something we're just never quite able to figure out.

Which is why we play so soft at least keeping things in front of them...unless they throw to the TE 05-duck

Finding out who the Tight End is priority #1. :)
RB - Is Keith Harris healthy
Will Tyler Loos come back.
How does Maddie fit in.

I'm pretty sure Harris is ready to go and Loos is coming back, although maybe not 100% in spring.

Maddie remains to be seen. Whoever wins the QB job is going to be pretty good.

RE: What questions need to be answered during spring practice?
Loos??? Be surprised if he makes a showing in the spring. Like to see some young OLINEman step up. We will have a top tier MAC Oline, nothing over the top but MAC good. QB is obviously the big question even Lazurus can see that one. I want to get a good look at those RedShirt FR WRs Holder and Mitchell and to see if they are ready. When Brown & TLL were out late last year we lacked a dynamic playmaker. DBs? I'll wait to fall for a cover guy, DL? looking to be pleasantly surprised this year.

Wondering how the staff will adjust without an All-American at QB. How will the fans adjust without an NFLer or AA taking snaps?
