I saw him play in high school probably the second-most of any blazertalker 03-lol

Pickren was an absolute wrecking ball at DE. Two speeds: WFO and stop.

Saw him frequently double- and occasionally triple-teamed to try to keep him out of the backfield.

Moving Vinson to the slot/backfield is more what he did in high school as well. He was kind of a hybrid at Clay.

I would guess up until the spring game that there really will not be enough time to have any depth charts.

Hopefully Pickren will have made his last position change.

I believe he can really help us on the d-line.

Did anyone come out of the tryouts a couple of weeks ago? Bummer that they're going to be closed but can understand not wanting the distraction of onlookers while teaching a whole new thing to players.

I guess it will be fall before we find out if steve will play at DE or just be practice depth... At least he has a shot!
