Kind of worried when Ross and Taylor picked up their 4th fouls with over 10 minutes left. Batten and Moseley came through.

ODU had a great second half to pull away after what had been a close and ragged first half. They even managed to hit a good percentage of their free throws -- not something they have done much this year.

I hate that we lost but glad it was by as much as it was. This should provide plenty of motivation for Hamrick to fire Herrion.

Good game, the post foul trouble was concerning. Keenan Palmore is an extremely underrated defender and was able to keep Canty under control while Thomas and Taylor were kept in check. Palmore also shut out Akeem Richmond twice!

Canty and Taylor are a heck of a freshman duo.

I feel the same. I hate it for his family because he does have an autistic son that absolutely loves The Herd and all the players and he really enjoys the games. I hate the fact that he has to lose his job. Have met Herrion amd he was a pretty good dude and wish this would have continued to climb after the NIT bid but it imploded.

Another double header for Old Dominion tomorrow. The Lady Monarchs won in a very close match against UTSA 79 - 74. They will square off against Southern Miss. tomorrow night at 9:30 EST.

However, before the women's game the men's team will take on MTSU in the matinee at 4:30 EST
