Sorry, I wonder how f bombs were dropped at the end of the Tigers game at the home court tourney? There's not a whole hell of a lot that seperates these two teams right now. If the Tigers didn't start in the top 25, where would they be about right now?
I will do the math for you since it's over 10 and I don't want you to have to take your shoes off to count.
Losses of the last 2 teams that Memphis played: 8+7 = 15
Losses of each of the last two teams that Arkansas played: 19 + 20 = 39
Record against those 2 ranked teams: 1-1
Record against those 2 bad teams: 0-2
So the two teams that Memphis went 1-1 against have lost fewer games combined than each of the last 2 teams that Arkansas went 0-2 against.
Yeah, our records are nearly equal.
Good Fugging Lord did I mention records? No. Just that the teams aren't that far apart. I don't give two hoots on margin of victory, often times free throws and end of game fouling skew final margins. I've watch nearly every game both have played this year and there's just not that much difference. Memphis has stronger PG play and that has given them a slight edge.
And Smartazz, if I can't count, blame Brownsville Rd. and Craigmont.

Memphis is a lock to make the tournament. Arkansas is headed to the NIT. Only an Arkansas fan would think there isn't much of a difference between the two teams.

And the fact that there is not one player on the Arkansas roster who would start at Memphis... Of the players on the roster, Portis is probably the only one who would actually see any court time for Memphis.
