NT Wins The Argent Financial Classic For a Second Straight Year

CHOUDRANT, La. – Its back-to-back titles for the North Texas men’s golf team as they captured the 2014 Argent Financial Classic for a second straight season. The Mean Green, who trailed the host Louisiana Tech by one shot heading into the final day, passed the Bulldogs in the final round with a score of 292 to win by two strokes.

It is the first title of the 2013-14 season for the Mean Green and the sixth team title under head coach Brad Stracke. North Texas placed four players in the top-13 of the event lead by Juan Munoz.
