The Lawsons gets Elijah Thomas interest spiked. Pastner has to close the door. But, If I was Elijah Thomas, I would be concerned about playing time with the current personnel we have. Namely, Austin Nichols and Shaq Goodwin, with Dominic Woodson getting better in practice.

He and Shaq would be on the same team what, one year? Not sure he'd be that concerned. Also, good players like to play with good players...why else does the Kansas' and Duke's of the world recruit like they do?

I find it interesting that a lot of folks on here though we had a shot and he was influenced by the Lawson's. Obviously, there was a major disconnection in that we are not in his final 6 and have been eliminated.

Obviously, He saw he wouldn't have the opportunity to start right away at Memphis. So, We were cut.

Why would you find that interesting?

It was a totally logical and obvious assumption to make about the Lawsons having some pull on some level. Even Thomas himself admitted he had connections with the Lawsons and was intrigued at some point.

Just because we didn't make the list doesn't make any of those things untrue, we just missed on the guy.
