He says "when I was coming up things were different". He's only 26 so he would be in the pee-wee leagues back in 2000.

What I think is different about today is the boundaries as to what someone can learn about their favorite sport or hobby is no longer there. Before you had to play at the right high school or under the right coach to get the goods but now you could be 12 years old and find out online what is required to be successful at the NFL columbine.
