I will be there and I love the tournament being in Memphis. It is a perfect setup with everything being walking distance if you stay downtown.

Heck, I attended this thing twice during the Robo Doh years and had a great time even though we sucked and lost the first game both times.

Heres to finally getting at least ONE win in the tournament!! 04-cheers

Downtown gives one a lot of options. Tunica and a rental car is another housing option as the casinos are there. Downtown is a food fan's DREAM. One that should get more publicity is Huey's (across from the Peobody). Sometimes one just wants a burger and a beer. That is what they do (with great steak fries) and they do it as well as anyone! Huey's has been a tradition here for nearly a half century. Central BBQ is awesome, Interstate BBQ is awesome, Gus's and Uncle Lou's Fried Chicken are a damned religious experience.

for those with kids in tow, the memphis childrens museum just announced it became only the 8th childrens museum in the country (of approxx 400) to has been awarded accreditation by the American Alliance of Museums. thats a big deal for them and a great place. its just north of the liberty bowl on central. then just another mile or so on east of there is the Pink Palace Museum, a really nice public general museum focusing on the region with an IMAX and planentarium. or you could go about 2 miles northwest to the zoo which is just outstanding.
