and Ohio has co-champions in high school hockey (and apparently some upset fans as well).

Congratulations to Sylvania Northview and Cleveland St. Ignatius.

Its understandable that the game needed to be ended. Many did not want to see it come down to a shoot out either. My vote is to go to one more over time without a goalie in either net(sudden death OT). The game would have been decided with six players still on the ice for each team. That OT would last no longer than a minute or two and the teams still decided who truely wins. I don't think you would even need a game clock at that point either. THis plan is simple and ends up with one winner in the end. The big reason I do not like how this game ended is that this could only be done in the Finals. Had this been a semi final, you can't have a tie in that situation, and one winner would have to be decided. Just my 2 cents.

It was pretty cool seeing this on SportsCenter this morning. They showed highlights from STO's broadcast with St. Ignatious hitting posts and crossbars left and right during the overtimes, and led into a segment of famous ties in sports ('02 MLB All-Star game, '66 N0tre Dame/MSU, '68 Harvard/Yale, 2014 Missouri Spelling Bee).

there should be less restrictions/ rules after 2 OT's to speed up the game and get a winner.
