Of the two pp's I caught, at least one featured seriously good puck possession and we scored on the other.

Ya, I watch er.

Hafner once again, played another steller game. I do think WMU should ride him through the playoffs and no more alternating starts. Lucas has consistantly proven the team has thier best chance of winning when he starts and on average he gives up the fewest soft goals.

Better job our forwards in our offensive zone, puttiing more preasure on UND defensemen and fowards in thier own end. Team also did a much better job plugging up the nuetral zone.

Berchace clanked one of the pipe, and so did Kovak. Hargrove had "two" great individual effort goals. Besides Brittian, I put Gothenberg as the next best goalie in the league.

The fighting Sioux are different team when not playing with the lead. Hope Murray sends in some clips to the league on Girmalde. I watched him 5 times go into the corner, half wall and even in the nuetral one, goes in own a WMU players, will bend over and hold on to thier stick, pulling it up around his body and then falling to the ground. The ref crews should be educated on this and what to look for. Nail him with a hold and follow it up with a embeshment call.

McKee got hosed on two calls, just because he is too big and too strong. I hate Shepard and hope we dont see him in the playoffs, as he will favor the old WCHA guys. Thought it was interested they took Mike out of the hand shake line up after the game and escorted him to the bench.

For a team who is suppose to be a real physical team, I thought I saw more "flopping" in puck battles from the fighting Sioux in attempt to draw calls. More than any other team we have faced this year, Shepherds crew bought them hook, line and sinker. Yet they were un able to make obvious hooking/tripping calls from behind on our WMU guys.

I didn't like the arragance of SCSU, as if just because they made it to the NCAA, suddenly they think they are a great program. I loved watching the Broncos stuff it in thier face in thier home rink, with a win and tie. But I may have loved it more watching the great and almighty Sioux choke at home and fail to lock up the first NCHC league title.

Hope WMU books one way tickets to Minneapolis net week and takes the bus to Duluth. If the win, just drive to Minneapolis and get ready there for confernece tournament. Some extra nights in the hotel would be allot cheaper than another round of round trip air fare tickets. If they lose, just take the bus home....

We should of won both road games, as we out played them in both games at thier home rink, but ended up with a split.

I also thought we out played them in one of the games a Kalamazo, but missed out on so many opportunites to burry the puck deep into a wide open net. The other game I though UMD outplayed us and desirved the win.

The Bulldogs have 3 pretty quick skilled lines of forawards, but defense is not very deep, rather suspect, with average goal tending.

UMD probably did the best job of clogging up the nuetral zone on us this year, did a great job of blocking shots and getting our sticks up in the offensive zone limiting our lose puck scoring chances in front of the net.
