IMO a 6-seed is where we should be right now. A chance to move up in the AAC tournament. Just win, baby.

RE: Palm still has Memphis a 6-seed facing Arkansas
Feels a touch high to me, but anything in the 5-9 range is arguable for where we are at. I feel we're a 7 seed as stands today…

Beat UConn, 6 seed
Beat Cincy (or other semi), probably a 6 seed, but maybe a 5
Win the AAC? Possibly as high as a four.
Lose to UConn? 8/9 here we come.

Just guessing...

I think 8/9 is too low even if we lose to UConn. Right now we are a 6/7.

We're a 5 with a chance to be a 3/4. When we're playing well

I think we solidify a 6 if we beat UConn and move up a line for every win after that.

Still do not understand the love for Ark other than beating a questionable UK twice. They are like 3-6 on the road this year. 5th in their conference some 8 games behind. I can understand the spin from the media. But reality is their two signature wins are against a group of me me me individual players and not a team. Stat today UK had assist on only 43% of their baskets while Tigers had assist on 61% of ours.

Oh, please, no. I have to co-exist with my son-in-law, who is a great guy except for the fact he is a Hog.

NJ1,

yea, you have to. Though they got curbstomped at Starkville today. For that, I think they got knocked off the NCAA peg. I expect FLA, UK and UTK to be the only reps from the SEC in the Dance. Unless of course, Ark or Mizzou wins the conference tournament.

That's what I think, and I'm not all that thrilled about climbing past a 6 seed, either, if we have any hopes of getting past the S16. I'd take my chances with a 3 seed to get to the S16, and thus miss a 1 in the next game.

Curbstomped at Alabama not Starkville. 83-58 to a bad Alabama team.

I have no idea how Arkansas lost that badly to Alabama. But they have a butt-load of top 50 and top 100 wins. That part of their resume puts to shame anyone else on the bubble.

Arky should be in tourney with a great seed if games were played in Barnhill arena. Very good there.

Not a lot of difference between Miss State and Alabama in basketball anyway.

True dat.

Other than that, while I appreciate everyone's optimism. . . . . . . I get the feeling we're about a 7 right now.
