No...I'd still like to see us install the Grinnell offense if we end up returning to terribleness next year. I don't think we will return to being terrible, but if we have a couple of our better players transfer out (like we have recently), it could happen.

This year was a huge step. Winning 2 games in the MAC tourny would be another step. I am excited for that, but also know it is possible to step backwards.

Negativefactuary is sprinting away from his dire prediction (and dead wrong look into the crystal ball) about Monty and his ability....He said "We're over two years into Monty's reign, and it's clear he doesn't have the ability to rebuild a program. He'll likely head back to be an assistant at MSU when he's done here, and maybe get a better head coaching position then. Wouldn't surprise me if he's able to sustain a program, but he's not a re-builder. It's unfortunate, because I really thought he was the answer."

As is his always dreary predilection to be dire about the Huskies, he couldn't wait to write off MM and the Huskies on NOVEMBER 16.........REALLY? How does that crow taste now, Mr. Gloomy Outlook?

We go 14-16 and all of a sudden Montgomery is awesome. Hilarious. Let's see if we can improve two years in a row.

Niusfactuary just eat your crow. Do you realize the guys sitting on the end of the bench in gray sweats can beat the Huskie team in uniforms. They will be the deepest team in the MAC next year. I know something can happen to upset the apple cart but if you cannot be happy with the direction the the program you might not be able to be happy with anything. I cannot see a flood of transfers out. I am looking forward to having four seniors to celebrate Senior Day every year. That would be a good sign. You are right that has been the problem but this team actually likes each other and I do not think you will have key people departing.

In hindsight one of our "better" players transferring out perhaps saved this program.
