... Is playing great ball at the point for the Viles. Kind of wonder sometimes if he was undervalued and under-utilized here. Stokes can be a beast.

I liked him but he drifts in and out. I'd rather have Dixon so it worked out.

UT has been playing really well of late. Would not be surprised to see Memphis and them in a 6/11 game.

Stokes may not ever get any tournament experience with UTK, but he could be a great role player in the pros. All he needs is a coach willing to work with him for awhile.

Dixon>Barton by a little, but we would have the same record had Barton stayed, I wish Black and Barton had both stayed. Black and Barton = Pellom and Dixon, IMHO.

Hard to say what his attitude would have been. No guarantee he wouldn't have resented his role. I'm not saying he would, just saying why take the chance?

As for Tarik, though, I put a lot of Shaq's development on his absence.

I wish success for Barton and thank him for his time at Memphis. He is a tough, hard nosed player with a sweet three point shot, but Dixon is more versatile and an upgrade.

I don't see us beating Louisville the second time without Dixon

His best year was his freshman year. This year he has career lows in shooting percentages.

I was a big AB fan and am glad that he's doing well these past few games. He wanted a much more prominent role and he just wasn't going to get that here. We are getting more from our guys this year. Quite a bit more in several instances. I hope he's playing himself into a better overseas situation, though. I know he wants to provide as much as possible for his little girl.

He turned it on of late. 46% from three last six games, 59% last three games.

Amazing stat: When Antonio makes at least ONE thee pointer, UTk is 15-3. They are 8-0 when he makes at least three.

Dixon is considerably better than Barton. Not having to play Black 20+ minutes a game has allowed Nichols to step in and start and develop. We came out better with both of them outta here!

You wonder if some Tennessee fans are really glad for Tennessee's late season surge. They've played their way into the NCAA's this year for sure and now they've saved Cuonzo Martin's job. Sorry UTK, Bruce Pearl ain't coming through that door now.

Reminds me of the Johnny jones/calipari scenario. When the tigers went on a late season run.
