Kevin strong thus far. 1-0 Owls going to the B3. Crowd a bit quiet after hanging in for 17 innings.

Solo shot for ODU ties it.

Cook guns down a runner at the plate to end the top of the 6th inning. McCanna may be tiring a bit, as he gave up two hits that inning.

We waste a leadoff single by Aquino, who's stranded at 1B.

And the offense just keeps on ticking-- another 1-2-3 inning.

A career best outing for Kevin....and going deep into the game when we desperately need it with such a short bullpen for this 2nd game.

where was ODU picked in the conference poll? they certainly have kept us quiet offensively.

The Owls could also be called the quiet 9. We don't seem to score much, do we? Mc Canna is great today though.

we came into today with team ops of .696 and it is falling.

I'm not sure what levers coach can pull. we have a set lineup getting almost all of the plate appearances. connor tekyl and hunter k. and charlie w. are the most used dh/bench guys.

blake fox, brian smith, Chase mcdowell and kirby taylor have had cameos at the plate.

the only position player on the roster not used yet are Dayne Wunderlich and Andrew Murphy. Dayne hit 14 jacks in high school. I'd like to see him get some cuts.

Beau Rathjen is listed on the roster but my understanding is he has left the team (and/or is still rehabbing a knee)
