There's a lot of naïveté out there.

Is my stating that Josh is one of the cleaner recruiters out there naïve? Do you have knowledge of NCAA violations that Josh is committing? If so, tell the school so they can self report. Does Josh work the gray area as well as anyone? Sure he does. Is he dirty like Calipari or Pearl? No.

As one of the few on here who has seen the recruiting process first hand (albeit many years ago) I know what goes on. I also know about things that happen that the coach cannot possibly control of have knowledge of. That's what Calipari has done so masterfully. He has the network set up where it would be very hard to trace things back to him and even harder to get people to talk (ask Parrish about that).
One person on here used the Will Barton recruitment to make Pastner look dirty. If you have evidence, spill it. Otherwise, STFU.
You just contradicted yourself and probably did not realize it. Could you please provide a link to when cal got in trouble with the ncaa? If not how about you STFU.

Reggie Rose wasn't given free transportation under Cal's watch? MULTIPLE banners haven't come down under Cal's watch? Cal wasn't stripped of wins? The NCAA didn't go to UK and MAKE them correct Cal's career win total?

It's amazing to me that those who had buddies on the former coaching staff want so desperately to see Josh fail. Why don't you ask your buddy Robic why Antigua and Strickland were caught on the University of Memphis campus trying to get CJ Henry to transfer to Kentucky?

He also swore up and down that Parrish had a "great" relationship with the staff. Next thing you know...Parrish is high fiving Forde when Chalmers makes the shot. Just treat him as a light source of entertainment and you will be fine.

His credit card was on file and was charged for every trip he flew on except the one someone didn't file the paperwork for.

It was a clerical error. IF we were going to cheat why would we charge him for all the travel except one?

That error allowed the NCAA to add it to the rumors and stick it to us.

First of all, the Reggie Rose stuff was not by itself that bad. It was serious, but not that serious. In a vacuum, it may have gotten us put on probation for a couple of years to monitor our procedures on this stuff. In a worst case scenario, maybe we lose a scholarship or something. But I doubt wins would have been vacated. And to call what happened "cheating" is just ludicrous. It was AOB negligence. Someone should have been canned over it. But in the end, it was a mistake.

That said, I'm not digging through the report this time, but it was more like 5 flights and 5 hotel stays where they didn't run his card. I forget how the flights happened. But on the rooms he was basically left off a list of people given to the hotels who had to pay their own way, so the school ended up paying for him.
