Rice University senior Reny Jose has been reported missing in Panama City Beach, Fla., where has been spending spring break with fellow students at a rented beach-front home since Saturday. His friends have not seen him since he went for a walk around 6:30 p.m. Monday.

This is unsettling:

KTRK Wrote:The Bay County Sheriff's Office said Jose's clothing and personal items were found in a garbage can near the home.

RE: Rice Senior Missing
Two student deaths and a missing student in the span of about three weeks. This has been a very ominous start to 2014, and I hope it improves.

Hopefully that starts with the safe return of Reny Jose.

Hope he didn't decide to go for a swim by himself or something.

RE: Rice Senior Missing
Still no news.

Letter from Leebron: http://www.rice.edu/Message%20from%20DWL%2003.08.14.pdf

Quote:
I hope we can report soon that Reny has been found and is safe. But let us honor these three students and two more we lost last summer with a moment of silence at noon on Monday, wherever you may be.
The chapel bells will ring first for Reny, as we pray for his safe return. This will be followed by four rings for each of the four students we have lost this year, in honor and remembrance of what they brought to
our university.
