(Saturday game) The Wave offense fell into a deep sleep today in Berkeley CA against the Razorbacks. Several scoring opportunities but nothing came of it. Tulane completes its 3-game swing in the Bay Area on Sunday against the San Francisco Dons. That game will be played on the campus of Laney College in Oakland CA. First pitch at 11am local (2pm ET)



(Friday game) Cal got up 5-0 then Tulane came back to score 7 with two outs in the top of the 5th

Could still go either way but this would be a big win for the Wave

Evidently the pitcher's mound is wet/slippery/whatever, and Tulane pitchers have now been charged with 5 HBPs and 1 WP in the game so far.

Tulane got a runner to 3rd base with 1 out but couldn't bring him home in the top of the 6th.

Since the game is being played in the Bay Area (Berkeley), it's fun to note that Tulane has a player named Nick DiMaggio ("The Clipper", natch), who just had an RBI.

No relation to Joltin' Joe, far as I've heard.

Tulane needs 6 more outs to go. Trends seem positive.

Absolute beast performance in relief by Tulane senior Kyle McKenzie from Boston Mass.

Tulane's next game is tomorrow… er, today (Sat.), also at Evans Diamond in Berkeley CA, vs the Arkansas Razorbacks. Hogs are ranked in the Top 20-25 even after losing 2x3 to the… South Alabama Jaguars … I'm not sure who the designated home team is for that one.
