Pro Day Results
Looking at Twitter this is what I found for Jimmie

4.47 40
10.5 broad jump
38" vertical

Lynch did QB & DB drills and ran "Mid 4.6"

I'm sure there will be "official" times given and some articles written up since it was very heavily attended by media & NFL teams.

Also, probably safe to say that Jimmie might have jumped up into high first round for some teams. He's definitely gone in the 2nd.

I think that's a definite possibility. It looks like the niners and patriots both need safeties and he would fall right there. And then the chiefs and broncos from what I've read are pretty big fans. That gives him 4 chances in 25-32 range.

Would love to see two first rounders from the MAC

RE: Pro Day Results
He's the #3 safety on a lot of draft boards.

Clinton-Dix is #1, Calvin Pryor from Louisville is #2, Ward is #3.

Both will go before Jimmie more than likely, so him going in the first round will depend on how badly teams want him and where those first two go. I don't think Clinton-Dix falls past Baltimore at #17.

McShay doesn't have Ward in his latest mock drafted which was released today.

That would be great. Anybody but the Bears, please. I did not support them all that much before. Now, after letting Hester go, I will throw my support to the Colts and root against the Bears every game they play - especially against the Packers.

This happened in the locker room after Jimmie's pro-day.

Why won't they let Hester go? Thanks to Angelo he was getting paid like a starting WR and all he did was run back kicks. His return skills have definitely eroded the last couple of years as well. Simple economics, love how Urlacher is whining about also.

Yep, Hester was making too much for what he was doing. I do think the kick return blocking wasn't as good as it has been in the past. Was really hoping he could break the record for return TDs, IIRC he's tied with Deion 2-hand touch Sanders.

This is flat out wrong. And the post by NIU007 blindly supports it.

Last year Hester averaged 27.7 yards per kickoff return...second highest of his career and highest since 2010. He was 5th in the NFL for average and first in total kickoff return yardage.

His punt return average was 14.2 which is 2 yards above his career average. That average would have put him at 3rd in the NFL.

But that kind of $ would be indicative of "game changing" return performances..not just quality work..special work.. again, humbly, imo

I don't disagree that he was overpaid. I wanted the bears to cut him before last season started. Doesn't change the fact that he had a great year as a returner and saying otherwise is just wrong.

I thought I knew what you meant just wanted to verify. Ya not totally surprised he was left out. I think 2nd is a lock and 1st is a highly possible situation from a few teams perspective.

As for not being drafted, the guy at nfl.com has him as a 6-7 round pick hahahahaha.
