ECU looked way off tonight. They had no flow on offense at all. We were really good, don't get me wrong, but we weren't THAT good. Something just wasn't there for them.

Also - Richmond has looked nothing more than average in our two games against ECU this year....he only dropped one 3 on us...prob went about 1-8 tonight.

Correction: he went 1-7. Horrible game.

Everything was off, PRC is playing with a bad hammy, Keem only attempted 7 shots, man had no flow at all. Don't know what to say other than Congrats ODU and shaite happens.

Sometimes a team just matches up well against another. For whatever reason, ODU played two very solid games vs ECU this season. If only Heinicke wasn't stripped of the football early in the 3rd quarter...........

Richmond has hit some big shots for this team over the last two years but sadly this is nothing unusual he'll go 8-12 from beyond the arc or 1-7. He's had games where he has 0 2-pt attempts but shot the ball 16 times. He's a very one dimensional player, and any team that has a good perimeter defense can shut him down.

If you watch the game, Palmore had one job on the defensive end, and that was to keep Richmond from getting the ball. He never even thinks about switching. Clearly, our goal was to make someone else beat us.

It helps that he had a bad shooting night, but Palmore had alot to do with that in both games.

Palmore and Mosley were draped all over Richmond. 35 is absolutely right in that the game plan was to simply prevent him from catching the ball. Our guards did a fantastic job of that. Richmond didn't have a clean look all game. His one made shot was basically a fadeaway from the corner that got a very friendly roll.

Seems like that should be every opponenets game plan against ECU. Looks like ODU was able to actually act on that game plan.

yep...and SJ hammered me for calling him "streaky"........

we've been a jekyll and hyde team this season.....we looked awesome against Louisiana Tech....handled their press great.....had flow to the offense....making shots left and right....looked like nothing was going wrong at all.......then we have this performance last night......who knows what will happen next week in El Paso.......

wouldn't doubt that......btw....Akeem played 33 minutes last night...the most of any of our players who played.........hmmmm..and I was told up and down by SJ that more minutes automatically led to more production......all of his statistical PROJECTIONS didn't work out to well this time I guess........ oh wait a minute......a PROJECTION isn't a guarantee.....darn those pesky statistical vocabulary words....they can get so confusing for folks......
