Maybe Marshall is posturing again so they can get another great coach like Tom Herrion again???

Or maybe since ETSU has been so successful against their recent coaches.. they are thinking "it we can't beat em with our guys maybe we can get their guy????

Go Murry go....if you know what I mean. I'd love to see some new young blood...perhaps even a Buc alumnus have a chance at moving ETSU to greatness....Murry's had a ride that's lasted way to long.

I checked the Herd's forum to see if any of their fans had Bartow on their minds. This is the only post I found that mentioned him:

Please, take Bartow from us.

Alas, no one is worthy to coach at our mighty institution.

Coach deserves another year, hopefully he can keep his staff in-tact

"...Sounds like Gardner Webb assistant Takayo Siddle will join the staff at UNC Wilmington – he has a Hargrave connection with new UNCW head coach Kevin Keatts. Same goes for East Tennessee assistant Thomas Carr – another Hargrarave guy who appears to be joining Keatts..."
http://hoopdirt.com/blog/7ef1884f/dallas-dirt-ii/

What will we do if MurBar and his assistants pop their tents and go?

if the coaches did leave ETSU would they likely be able to "take" the 2 recruits from Hargrave with them (presuming Ahmad Thomas signs w/ETSU)?

After the party is over, I suppose we'll deal with the hangover of finding a new staff late in the game.

Throw one hell of a party at Poor Richards if Bartow goes. Wouldn't mind keeping Bolen, maybe even let him interview for the head coaches job or at least give him a year as interim and see what he can do.

Well he could maybe take Overstreet if they wanted him, probably woudn't hurt him, sitting out the year for transfer reasons is as good as redshirting him to let him get stronger, haven't signed the other guy.

Well ETSU posted for an asst position today, so I would assume he is definitely out. (Don't get confused/excited by the Head Men's Basketball Coach header. It's the asst position)

Could this instead be the third coach which we did not have this year?

Yep. That's another excuse Bartow can use and honestly buy himself two more years. He didn't have a full staff all season and was two down for half of it and still won 19 games.
I still hope he lands the Marshall job.

Decision nearing for Marshall basketball
Politically and on paper, Bartow sure does look good.

But key point to that would be taking Bolen with him, I would rather send Bartow and keep Bolen.
