Postseason Jerseys Released
Well, these actually are pretty awesome, outside of the sleeves and all.

CINCINNATI -The University of Cincinnati men's basketball team has been selected by adidas to wear specialized Made in March uniforms throughout its 2013-14 postseason run beginning with the American Athletic Conference Championship, the footwear and apparel company announced jointly with UC on Thursday.

The collection was created to provide the Bearcats with adidas' most advanced uniform system and basketball apparel technology so they can take on the challenges and intense play of March.

The uniforms feature a functional perforated print pattern along the leg of the stretch woven short to enhance breathability and ventilation. adidas' quick drying jersey technology found in current NBA uniforms along with ClimaCool zones on the chest, back and side, move heat and moisture away from the body to keep the jersey light and dry. The jersey sleeves include armhole insets with 360-degree stretch fabric that facilitate free range of motion for the arms and shoulders during shooting and dribbling.

Cincinnati will wear the new uniforms beginning at the American Athletic Conference Championships, March 12-15 at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tenn.

Made in March uniforms will be worn by UC along with Baylor, Indiana, Kansas, Louisville, Michigan, Notre Dame, Tennessee, UCLA and Wisconsin. The Bearcats will be one of four programs to wear the jersey sleeves along with Baylor, Louisville and UCLA.

Fans can find the UC jersey and shorts available online at adidas.com and UC's official team store (http://shop.gobearcats.com). A list of other retailers will be made available once confirmed.

Since 2006, adidas has been the official outfitter for UC Athletics. This is the third consecutive year the Bearcats have worn specialized postseason adidas uniforms.

I think they look great. The sleeves, yeah, don't get that on a basketball jersey.

Considering the last few years' attempts, these are awesome. I can deal with the sleeves. Adidas really has treated UC well.

You can say that again...sorry, but "Infrared" sure looked orange to me.

I know that some guys wear the form fitting spandex type shirts with sleeves under their jersey's anyway. But, I wonder how the guys that don't, feel about wearing sleeves after playing 25+ games without?

I just saw them hanging in the bookstore about an hour ago. Hey, sleeves got Lousyville a NC. As long as it doesn't affect our shooting I'm okay with them. I remember how the wide shoulders on the old jerseys bugged some of the players.

BTW, on the bookstore model at least, the red looks like "infrared" to me.

i always wondered why jersey's have to be so heavy. durability? i've worn authentic gear in my day and that sh!t is cumbersome. f*cking t shirts are comfortable. how do ball players do it on a muggy summer's day?

I like these a lot better than the previous postseason uniforms. Even if you don't like them, at least we don't have to wear these...

Much better than last year. As a bonus, one could reasonably pull off wearing one of these casually. A sleeveless jersey, you better have huge guns. Better not to even in that case.

Some schools got sleeves and others didn't. I don't think thats fair since a lot of players (at least in the NBA) don't like playing with sleeves.

Here are all of the Adidas post season uniforms for UC and other teams.

Awesome!

HATE the sleeves but overall that design is 10X better than the eyesores from these past couple of years.

I don't think UC would have accepted the sleeves design if the players weren't on board.

And anecdotaly, UL wore sleeves last year and won the title. I don't think they regret their decision.

I think the average Joe Schmo would be more likely to wear a jersey with sleeves, which is what these companies are thinking. All about the sales.

Hopefully they DO affect our shooting! Maybe the ball will start going IN the basket!

Obviously its about more than just sales and the average joe schmo. has to be a reason why they want players to wear them
