will there be a decent crowd for the two wed night games and the smu/houston match up? would be disappointing to see empty arena for those games

I have no other confirmation, so just passing that tidbit along.
If this happens, this is indeed a chickenshit conf., no way would the old BE do this, this screams MID-MAJOR.
Everything I've seen so far still has our game at 7.

Yep, it was an evening slot. I shouldn't have added "early." That might not have been in the tweet, I just don't recall now. Anyway, the move was to get Memphis out of an afternoon game, on Thursday.

I cant imagine much of a crowd for Wed night. 4 teams that aren't very good and none are located that close to Memphis. Probably will be a decent crowd there on Thur afternoon. Lots of red w/ UL, SMU playing. Plus, quite a few Memphis fans will show up to pull for whoever UL is playing. It will be full of blue on the Thur night session.
As much as I love the conf tourney being here, part of me wishes we did a neutral site like most of the leagues. Just not sure where they could do it. I thought Nashville would be a good central location, but the SEC signed up long term there as they want to get away from 3/4 empty GA Dome if KY sucks.

I heard the lower bowl is sold out. Not sure how many will actually attend Wed. night, though. I will.

I can only speak for my group. 6 of us (Tiger fans) have all session tix and will be there for all the games, including Wed.nights games. I can recall for the CUSA tourney games, Memphis fans only showed up for the Tiger games. As the AAC is a much better conference than CUSA, I suspect there'll be decent crowds when the Tigers aren't playing. I also expect L'Ville and Cincy to have a large amount of fans show up for the tourney.

UC has seemed to have already won!!
Hate to say it, but if the Tigers don't win it, I think L'Ville will. Now, if it's between L'Ville and Cincy, I'll be, as I think most Tiger fans will be pulling for Cincy....GO TIGERS!!!!

They were a regular season champion... they are the number one seed, it doesn't say tourney champ - so they haven't seemingly won already.
