I've noticed since announcement of Franklin to Penn State, the recruiting has changed dramatically for PSU and Vanderbilt. I'm curious if anyone has followed the recruiting trend changes post teams changing conferences.

I believe a number of his recruits are following him to PSU. That was the talk as that was going down anyway.

I'm not sure MD & Rutgers makes that much of a difference to PSU. I'm of two minds. Having Franklin, who is an excellent recruiter back in the MD/DC metro area can't be good for MD. But the thing is, PSU has always been able to grab just about anyone they want from area anyway. So I guess it will likely make a little difference but not a huge one. I think Ohio State and Michigan can probably do the same but maybe less extensive. As for the rest of the B1G, they may grab someone every now and then but don't think it is a huge impact.

I don't think it has made a huge difference so far due to the crappy job that Flood & co did the past season.

What would feelings be about Shiano return to Rutgers now being in B1G? If I recall he seemed to do pretty good recruiting.

I'd rather see RU go after Narduzzi or an innovative offensive coach, but a reunion with Schiano I wouldn't be against.

I don't want to see Schiano back. Much rather see us as AntiG says get Narduzzi or an innovative offensive coach.
