No "Freaks" Allowed

I found this oddly amusing.

Federal law trumps state law. Not sure if Federal addresses the refusal of a small restaurant to serve gays.

Be careful there with generalizations....you are going to invite "suggestions".

But as to the article, since gays aren't a protected class under federal or state law and there are no laws against this, then yes, it is perfectly legal. A restaurant owner can also ban bald people, fat people, and ugly people too.

But, why would you want someone to serve you food who thinks the things he does about you? I would never want to eat at this man's dive.

Protected class... It's amazing how gays want to be protected for choosing the lifestyle they chose... It's like being a pedofile and wanting to be a protected class because you chose that lifestyle... Or a rapist, or a murderer... Everybody chooses what they are except color of skin and gender. Therefore, I believe ethnicities should be protected, and male or female... Gays really don't count.

A simple dress and behavioral code that apply to everyone would seemingly solve all his problems. If gays want to eat there, what does he care as long as they are dressed normally and not hooking up on site? People like this owner create unnecessary problems.

There are no federal protections for LGBT persons against discrimination in employment, housing, or public accommodations. Oklahoma has no local laws banning it either. I'd like there to be protections. This idiot will help our case.

I would never eat at this man's dive but I certainly think that he should be famous for his bigotry. Its obvious that this type of discrimination is really unpopular.

I walked into a very bad Chinese buffet the other day, and there on display at the entrance was the sign...

That's funny, we were at a Chinese buffet about 2 weeks ago. About 30 minutes into being there, I realized they had completely segregated the seating by race. The place was packed and it just so happened that the whites and Asians were all on one side of the restaurant and all the blacks were on the other side with no exceptions.
