Yep, doesn't look too excited watching warmups from the bench.

It is probably for the best. He could hurt us, not playing 100%

I think that if we have C.J. we win the last two games. Not having his scoring, rebounding, and general steady play really hurt us.

If he is not ready when the tournament starts we're going to have trouble.

And even if he can play, can he play effectively in back to back games

Our starting 5 seniors played pretty good when they were on the floor at the beginning of the game.

Regular season trouble. BandDad obviously talking about Tournament time trouble.

Neophyte.

It doesn't mean anything if you don't make it to the 2nd or 3rd (or 4th game), but we had a lot of players contribute tonight.

A little more contribution at the free throw line would be nice though.

I call that making a generalization instead of saying something specifically negative, like "Without CJ, I'm afraid our conference tournament is a one and done." I think that's very likely, but in a general sense I don't like prediction threads or being negative in advance.

The bad thing is that I looked at his posture and body language last night in streets, his hurt arm just dangling there, and had very little hope that he'd be ready to play.

I wish they would just say what specific injury he has. I hate trying to guess from all these articles

That would be a violation of his medical privacy.

I'm not sure of the distinction but there is a difference between what can be released about a college player and what can be released about a professional

10 points a game from Purifoy, for the next 4 games, would be nice.

Yes. Not sure if Haase will play him though.

Haase may not have a choice. If we could have just had Purifoy or Swing contributing 10 points a game for most of the season, this season would have gone differently.

There is a medical privacy waiver that applies to pro athletes. While injury info is often released about college athletes, CJ technically still has the same legal rights to medical info as everybody else.
Pro athletes have typically waived that right

Purifoy will play some but not ad much ad last night. Purifoy took minutes away from Watts last night who only played around 10 minutes. That hurt the team, Frazirr, especially

The pro sports leagues have a great concern that gamblers might gain "inside information" about things like injuries that could affect game outcomes and therefore affect the credibility of the sport. For this reason they have a much more open disclosure of player's medical conditions - which is probably agreed to in all pro contracts.

Colleges, who have never admitted that their games are ever bet on, have no such national (NCAA) rules about medical disclosure so it is left to the individual school and its coaches to make such things public. Some are more forthcoming than others.

Incorrect

As stated above, its not up to the individual coach. It's federal law.
