RE: MIAMI game
Well the new downtown Kent restaurants must be thriving because Darren Goodson is downright FAT! Heard a rumor tonight that he has gained 10 pounds during the season. With all the running they do how is that even possible??? No discpline and when your sr leaders have no discipline this season is what you get.

Yes. This season is over. 2 more games and the pain will stop.

the way this season has been going, we will win Friday (then we will lose the 1st round home game.)

^ I think: a win at Akron + either Miami losing to Ohio or Northern Illinois losing to Ball State gets a home game.

For awhile I thought they were going to totally quit that would have been very bad for Sendy. Coming out flat isn't good but playing the whole game that way would have been a whole lot different. The eight seed isn't out of the question but they have to beat Akron.

Love the optimism, but we are not winning at the JAR.

Great this guarantees a win!!

RE: MIAMI game
This loss is similar to many others this season in that KSU can't stop the opposing team's "dominant player." In fact most of these guys have huge nights against us. Seems that that majority of the time it has has been the oppositions bigs. In Miami's case, Will Felder. He goes off for 26 pts and KSU has no clue how to defend him. Felder is extremely quick/fairly strong and our bigs simply couldn't match his athleticism (particularly his rolls/cuts to the hoop). Until we get a dominant player (like a Felder) we will likely be a middle of the pack team. Maybe Jimmy Hall will be that type player for us next season.

"I dont have an explanation we were lifeless. I'm not trying to put it on anybody but me, because im the coach. I didnt have them prepared in March to play hard on Senior Night. I've been around basketball now for 22 years and I've never seen this before" Coach Sendy.

So many things wrong with this statement and so many to blame and while the buck stops with Sendy this speaks to issues with everyone associated with the program.

I usually love to analyse what will happen and what DID happen at BB games. For this team, for now, I have no thoughts. Am lost for any good words.

RE: MIAMI game
From how it read in the Beacon Journal, Akron felt humiliated after the game by the Kent team and if they get the opportunity, they will return the favor tonight.
