What was the name of the guy that would do announcements during the basketball games. He worked in the athletic department and his first name was Neil. He had the really corny saying about the visiting teams fans keys are locked in their car and the car is running. He had others but I cannot remember.

Neal Bendesky was his name. I know he left to work for the NBA's Miami Heat, but don't know where he is today.

Thanks,

I thought very highly of Neil. He was a Bearcat through and through. The year before the Shoemaker opened up, he actually took the time to show a group of us around on a Friday night.

I do remeber a guy named Tom Talmadge that was a PA announcer for years for basketball games @ the old riverfront colliseum. He was sort of on the heavy side and always wore a red blazer. I was real young @ the time but I do think that was his name. I wonder what he is doing these days?

I know the UC Band used to give out a "Tom Talmage" scholarship. Not sure if that's the same guy or not.
