RE: PLEEZ!!!!
In the set offense- no quick shots.
For the game- a faster temp benefits Memphis- so trying to force more steals and transition not a bad idea.
In the prior game Memphis was horrible from the field- 2/17 from three and 21/63 overall. Some of that was shot selection- some of that was simply a bad shooting game. Nichols got pushed around- but he has grown- literally and as a player- so that is likely to be less of an issue.
Cincy is good- but I would suspect we would do a better job this game- making more shots- which will allow for some more forced tempo and scoring. But yes- in the set- work it in and out and around waiting for higher percentage chances.

OMG YES!^ This is the key right here. Although I certainly wished we had created with our depth and combinations a scrappy defensive unit; such as Pellom/or even Iverson at the 5;King @ the 4;Wilson @ 3 ;Geron & Dix @ the guards and run,run,run...We can't run with shaq and Nichols we wear them thin enough already....But spreading the floor and trapping for a few minutes would allow our starters rest and we would kill the other teams reserves forcing them back into the game sooner than they wanted making them exhausted ......I would have had this or a similar team playing against our first team consistently and having them do nothing but get the ball and go,go,go and press and trap our starters for 5 hard intense minutes until this unit became cohesive and communicated with each other.....And when they become a unit,it's on...GAMETIME
