ECU fans: You're looking extremely douchey with the "AAC! AAC!" crap. It's why I hate NC State fans because they do the same thing. Funny thing is we absolutely dismantled them in their house this year and so did everyone else in their conference.

Other fans: You're just as bad for engaging in it and not letting it die off. It obviously ruffles your feathers or you wouldn't care so much.

As for what actually matters: In football: USM, you own us. Rice, we're 2-2 with you. UTSA, WKU we never played ya. Everyone else we own or have a slightly better record.

Basketball: ODU, USM, UTEP, UAB, Marshall, Charlotte, NT, and FIU own/lead us. Hats off to you guys.

Folks have been warned time and again about forum-bans regarding this type of pimping....

I'm not going to get into a pissing match... but Charlotte is not the culprit here. Marshall fans and a handful of USM & UAB fans had their period the day we announced we were leaving... I'm beginning to worry about blood loss, because it doesn't seem to have stopped.

All these stones thrown derailing a thread, and some fire back in defense and pimping. And, the and stay out thread, clearly a smack thread on the main board for than a day. Sorry, the double standard is beyond crazy. This may be my final post on this board. Sick of it. Nearly every ECU thread that has something to do with C-USA, like this one is derailed by other and we are blamed every time.

Why was there 3 pages of every possible scenario of the American Athletic Conference collapsing?

If programs leave the AAC - they'll just backfill with the "best of the rest" ... that is the pecking order of conference alignment - so trying to downplay a move up by one of our members is ridiculous.

Honestly, nearly any (or all) CUSA member(s) would jump at American membership in a heartbeat if offered. It's a much higher profile conference beyond the number of tourney teams and BCS bids - every AAC controlled conference football and basketball game will be on national television next year in addition to their members making more money than ours!

These stupid pissing matches of trying to hope for a million things to happen to lessen a future conference for ECU is pointless - cause any hits to their new conference will just be a further weakening of ours too!
