I watched the youtube that anothertiger (or whatever... sorry if I messed up your moniker, sir...) posted and the commentators were commenting (NOT commentating... that made-up word annoys the crap out of me) on how loud it was. You could tell they were having to speak up to hear each other. just. awesome.

I doubt Mike Gminsky ever heard that many people cheering for HIM...

Gminski was a stud at Duke, that was before Duke was Duke, but he did make it to the final four 1978 and is still second in school history in rebounding.

Yep. He was a good player.

Thanks! I had forgot about that game, I was there. Notice that between regulation and overtime there was no kiss cam, dancing, or dunk contest, just cheering.

And maybe the occasional Medicine Man sighting. I was there too and it doesn't seem possible to have been so long ago.
