Nevermind I was wrong SJ would defend taking that shot. That was not the same as the CIT shot it was a good 5 feet deeper, he was not set at all, and there was a ton of time left on the clock.

You're wrong. They were both from about 3 feet behind the line, certainly not 30 feet, and it was a decent enough look that I don't know what else you expect because who else was going to shooting it.

Prince got pushed in to the right corner with the ball and threw it back to him and when he caught it there was 6 or 7 seconds left and by the time he would have thrown it to anyone else and they collected it would have been a struggle just to get a shot up, and who else was even around.

How about we don't pusssy foul a guy and let him get the lay up and free throw to even put us in that situation.

RE: ECU @ Marshall 2pm
Richmond had been getting guys to bite on the pump fake all game, and a shot fake there would have made the defender fly by and keem would have either had an open shot or could have made the extra pass for an open jumper.

With 3 seconds left on the clock thats not a bad shot, but with 7-8 we could have gotten something else at a higher percentage. You want keem shooting it but I wish he had tried something off the dribble with that much time.

And why was zangari not on the floor? down 1 I actually wouldnt mind a drive to the goal in that situation

RE: ECU @ Marshall 2pm
Here is what I've seen

-Prince attempt two game winners that were rejected and he was already about to get trapped in the corner and was not even close to scoring position before he kicked it back to Richmond

-PRC struggle with his shot most of the year and crap his pants with an open 3 at Campbell in a game winning situation before and blow big FT's as well.

-Stith, no clue why he's even on the court in that situation, he struggles with FT's and layups.

-and White was 30 feet away from Prince, and had been denied the ball for 4 minutes

Zangari is the the only low post offense we got, I'm like you, where was he at in that situation after a foul when he could have been put in.

All in all that's about as good an option as there was on the court, especially when he got it in his hands with only 7 seconds left, he's made 40% of those on the year and mainly shoots game winners with confidence. I've seen the others crumble way to much in pressure situations and White wasn't even near the play to even do anything and no clue how he'd even react. It was a decent look the exact same kind he makes and that's better than not getting it off or watching some weak attempt like I've seen from PRC in the past or Stith bumble and fumble around the basket and those were the only other realistic options.

This is going to sound like a smartass comment, but it's not: I'm going to miss the ECU fans going back and forth like this.

Well I don't see a lot of UAB fans constantly dogging your 18ppg scorers, All CUSA, best player on your teams over the years and wishing he was on the bench after every game either which is the ignorance we deal with around here. Hell Bonsjons even goes after our OC that has had a top 10 offense that helped us go 10-3 and is one of the best things to happen to ECU football. It's pretty amazing sometimes with some of these rocket scientist.
