I'm assuming we're going to lose power and, with all of the ice they're predicting, that we'll be in the dark for quite some time. Oh, yay. Hope everybody makes it through this storm okay. I hate winter, but this is the worst I can remember for quite a while.

Up here in Fayetteville, The ice was rather thin this morning and didn't freeze on the roadways but it's now thundersleeting with lightning for the past 30 minutes with about 3/4ths of an inch on accumulation so far,

3/4 of an inch and I'm walking around with a flashlight.

For some reason, I'm pretty pumped about the possibility of thunder sleet.

We had it in December. It was some weird end of days type stuff.

It sucks. I'm supposed to fly out of XNA tomorrow at noon.

We are actually under a Winter Storm Warning, not an Ice Storm Warning. Semantics, but a slight difference.

We now have a solid 4 inches of sleet. It's so compact, you can walk on it and barely leave prints. its piled up to a foot around the edges of the house and still coming down but with snow now.

Earlier today, they issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning just north of Harrison, AR on the Mo. side of the border. Torrential sleet with high winds and 1inch hail.

I wonder what Memphis will get? It looks like a lot of moisture is still heading this way.

You better hope you don't get what we in NWA are. I don't think Memphis will, as the storm has a bit of a northeastern track to it.

I went to Wal-Mart this weekend and from the looks of things...We'll probably all be dead by morning.

LOL. Tried to go to Kroger earlier and couldn't find a parking spot. That gave me a clue of what it would be like inside...turned around and went back home. Didn't need that milk anyway.
