Plus an Akron/ Ohio matchup in the quarterfinals too will be a war, which can only help Toledo if they can win out.

RE: MAC tournament standings
If I follow this, three teams battling for the top two spots:

EMU @ Toledo will be UT's biggie to get a 2-bye seed (#1 or #2) and Buffalo @Akron for UB's chance for a #1 or 2 seed.

WMU has an easier road. Good chance to finish 14 - 4.

Toledo: Condition 1: win @ CMU, win vs. EMU
Condition 2: lose 1 game AND have Buffalo lose 1, AND WMU lose 1 game
Condition 3: lose both games AND have WMU and Buffalo lose both games

Buffalo: Condition 1: win @ Akron, win vs. BG AND Toledo loss
Condition 2: lose 1 game AND have Toledo lose 1, AND have WMU lose 1 game

WMU: Condition 1: win vs. NIU, win @ CMU, AND Toledo lose 1, AND Buffalo lose 1 game
Condition 2: lose 1 game, AND Toledo lose 2, AND Buffalo lose 2 games

FIFY...

Buffalo can't beat Toledo in a 2 or three team tie. to win the MAC UB *MUST* finish with more wins than Toledo and at least tied with WMU.

I think his scenarios were in order to get a top 2 seed

Ahhhh Well in that canse it does ot matter what Toledo does doe UB to get the #2 seed... UB just needs to (a) win as many games as wmu or (b) win more than toledo but fewer then WMU.

How is UB the #1 seed

UB 2-0, Toledo 1-1 | 0-2
UB 1-1, Toledo 0-2, WMU 1-1 | 0-2

How is UB the #2 seed

UB 1-1, WMU 1,1 | 0-2, Toledo 1-1 | 2-0
UB 2-0, WMU 2-0 | 1-1, Toledo 2-0
UB 0-2, WMU 0-2

How is UB the #3 Seed

UB 1-1, Toledo 2-0 | 1-1, WMU 2-0
UB 0-2, Toledo 2-0 | 1-1, WMU 2-0 | 1-1
