Rice at MTSU
Update from the Saturday Evening Masochists Club - Owls down 33-19 at the half, and down to nine dressed for the game. Ramljak, Washington and Firozgary are out. We're not playing as well as the score would indicate.

Why did they not dress up? All three looked fine Thursday. Also, we should have 11 guys available even without those three (although I guess I'm counting two walk-ons who might have not made the trip?)

RE: Rice at MTSU
J.P. mentioned a thumb injury with Ramljak. Not sure about the others. From the OwlVision stream I only see four Owls dressed on the bench. And we're now down 46-25.

down 35-58 with 4:02 to go in 2H.

To think I had planned this to be the one game I would drive up to go see this year. Glad I made it to the Liberty Bowl instead.

...and another road loss. 41-65.

Sean Obi with only 3 pts and 3 rebounds.

Rice:
FG-3pt-FT
14-44 1-13 12-19
31.8% 7.7% 63.2%

MTSU:
FG-3pt-FT
19-47 6-15 21-29
40.4% 40.0% 72.4%

Ross Wilson with 8 pts 7 reb on 3-4 FG shooting and 2-3 FT
Max Guercy led the Owls with 9 pts 4 reb.

Box says no one had more than 1 assist. Wow.

Rice now 7-21 (2-13)
MTSU now 22-8 (12-3)
for Scott Thompson fans: Wichita State ends the regular season undefeated at 31-0 (18-0) MVC
and Cornell loses to Harvard yesterday 47-72. Cornell now 2-23 (1-10 Ivy).
Harvard now 23-4 (10-1 Ivy)

So, there's that.
