Tip my cap to Josh for huge win
Congrats to the Tigers and to Josh. His biggest win ever at home. He had his players ready to play. Season sweep of Louisville isn't easy. I remember Larry beat Louisville three times in one season. Josh has a chance to do that as well. I only wish my guy Joe would have played better. I hope they give him encouragement and try to get him ready in his mind. Go Togers!

I thought Louisville had a game plan to intimidate Joe, and it worked. He lost his confidence, you could see it.

Joe is one of the all-time great Tigers. He will get it going again. He is too good not to.

I think Joe has been through worse in his Tiger career. He's tough. I expect he'll go back to work in the gym and be ready for Cincy.

Love the win today! You are right about Joe... he seems to be playing like his girlfriend broke up with him - just doesn't seem to be full in it. Players go through funks but I hope he snaps back for these next two. He has been a great Tiger and I want to see him go out on top. He deserves it.

Pellom was put in to foul Harrell. At the time he was put in, Harrell was on a roll, and we had several fouls to give. Honestly, it worked, as Harrell didnt do much the rest of the game. But Pellom did hurt us in other areas while he was in there.

How about a shout out to Damien Wilson! He didn't play great or anything, but he gave us some competitive minutes when we needed them most.

I said this in another thread, maybe this is why Joe is having a hard time lately.

Quote:I still think he has not completely healed after that hip injury. That's the only thing I can think of why JJ has been struggling some.

Even in the video in the locker room after the game, he doesn't seem into it. He could at least be happy we won. Hope he gets out of his funk because we need him.

pellom played about a minute and a half. gave up a flagrant 1 foul, a turnover and louisville went on a +6 point run in that time frame. nick king didnt have foul issues as i recall. bad bad move.

Can't argue with that.

he also missed 2 FTs.

Why Pastner didn't tab King is anybody's guess

He gave one foul when Harrell started a drive. That's when I surmised his purpose in the game. It certainly didnt work out and coach subbed him out. In any case, if memory serves, Harrell had 21 points at that moment, and only got 4 the rest of the way.

Dont forget, He also missed a point blank and-1 opportunity, which led to the two missed FT's.
