Amen. Pitino was thinking about where to table dance tonight.

I thought Pitino did a poor job managing the last 5 minutes of the game. Piss poor. However, he's a hall of famer and deserves that honor.

Either way, he did a lousy job in the last 5 minutes.

Had nothing to do with us taking over the game in the last four minutes . Had nothing to do with a super defensive effort in the last four minutes. Had nothing to do with one of the loudest crowds I've ever heard. Had nothing to do with a great job by Josh.

P did what he was supposed to do, he depended on his all American to win the game. You don't ask your AA to back off with the game on the line. Period!

Hard to understand that 'strategy' by Pitino at the end ... bad, bad things. Also, you see what happens when we decide to play real defense. It shows. The real shock is how we stayed in this whole game when Joe and Shaq pretty much had disaster games, although Shaq played well defensively and rebounded strong. I thought Pastner coached a solid game overall, although I was a bit puzzled by the Pellom move (instead of Nick) and then left him in after the altercation. That series almost lost the game for us.

I think Pellom was in specifically to play hack-a-Harrell. That guy was killing us and Pellom had 5 fouls to give. He is a sub 50% FT shooter.

Austin was gassed and wasn't ready to return. Josh gave him one more possession rotation and then brought him in.
