Rushing the court has completely jump the shark!

Some fanbases have class, an understanding of history and expect to beat anyone, anytime no matter the circumstances. Memphis can certainly count themselves amongst an elite group of college basketball programs. It's nice to see they have the fans to match.

I wouldn't say Memphis is elite but beating Louisville isn't a big deal to them. I watched the whole game and their guys fought the full 40 minutes, they earned that win. Congrats to them!

They are right up there... Maybe not KU or Duke, UCLA, UNC, type... but up there.

You are completely entitled to your opinion. But for me, I can't name 25 programs better than Memphis' basketball program. That puts them in the top 10% of programs in the nation. That is elite to me.

1. Memphis fans would never give Louisville the idea that they are worth storming the court for.
2. Security at FedEx Forum is pretty tight.
3. Memphis has already beaten Louisville once, why would a sweep be worth a court storming, especially after you just got beat by Houston.
4. Court storming should not be done unless it is completely spontaneous, and then only in a special situation.

Since 1980, Memphis and Louisville have played each other in in basketball more than they've played anyone else.

And since 1980, Louisville has lost more basketball games to Memphis than to any other team, including Kentucky.

So court-rushing isn't in the cards, excuse the pun.

That is a bold face lie. Beating UL is everything to Memphis fans.

The other day, UNC students rush the court after they beat Duke. I was shocked that happened.

College is full of 18-21 year olds and you only live once...I say let them have their fun.

They are spectators, not participants and should not be on the court.

They shouldn't have their fun at the risk of endangering the safety of others

I don't consider running dangerous...either way it's not going to happen at FedExForum...NBA level security.

UNC fans and alumni rushed it as well. And then the entire student body flooded the streets of chapel hill hooting and hollering for hours, climbing telephone poles, standing on top of the crossing signals attached to poles, standing on tops of cars, etc...

They really have a cult-like mindset at that school. I hate that it's the flagship of the state I live in... there are some very weird people at UNC.
