saw Terps schedule and def am excited ... very much looking forward to new visits and road trips! ... hoping Turgeon can get things together next year ... MD always has that breakout potential and there is absolutely no reason they shouldn't compete immediately ... as a sidebar ... women's team should be a big draw also ... and looking to that acc challenge lolol

I'm also really looking forward to upcoming games of Sparty v. Terps! It's funny how all the conference realignments etc. has created a new sense of curiosity and interest for me about college sports. I've enjoyed the traditional match ups but must admit new match ups in different locations will be pretty cool! It's been a while since my last visit to the Inner Harbor and I had a great time. I've been to several of the B1G conference arenas / stadiums and I think you're going to like the fans and circuit!

RE: B1G Basketball
I am really looking forward to this upcoming season in the B1G. It looks like a fun one. Here is the schedule for anyone who is interested.

Terps will play a home-and-home with Indiana, Michigan State, Nebraska, Penn State and Rutgers.

Of the teams we only play once this season, we will host Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Northwestern. We will travel to Illinois, Iowa, Ohio State and Purdue.

So we get to play Indiana (who we beat for the 2002 National Championship) 2 times. We play Sparty (who we have a bit of history with in the NCAA tourney) twice. We play PSU and RU (our closest schools to us, and easiest to build a rivalry with?) twice. I don't think we have much history with Nebraska but they have certainly improved in b-ball, so I am good with this! The rest of the teams we have a some history with due to the Big/ACC challenge. I can't wait.
